Magenta Gerbera Daisy is an original work of art created in my Annapolis, Maryland studio. The flower fills the design so you can see the details of the center of the flower and the variations of the petals in magenta, pink, and whiteMy mixed media paintings are created with bold acrylic colors - sometimes straight out of the tube. A strong black line accents the color and moves you through the piece. I use a combination of mark making tools to create my work including brushes, paint markers, and handmade stamps. The painting is varnished and set in a black wood frame.
