ABOUT THE ART
I create my artwork in my studio in Annapolis, Maryland. Each of my original mixed media paintings begins as a sketch. I then transfer to board and begin to paint. I use acrylic paints and paint markers as well as a variety of tools including handmade stamps, stencils, decorative and hand painted papers, and more. There are many layers to the creation of each of my mixed media painting. The green jade plant is in a yellow pot sitting on a purple table with a red background. This piece is 14 x 11 inches and set in a decorative black frame. The art is sealed with a satin varnish.
